“As a manufacturing SME operating our own transport, our membership with the FTA Ireland is highly valued. We have aligned our transport operations to the FTA TruckSafe standard since 2019. Under the leadership of our Transport Manager, Denise Ryan, we have built our transport operation into a core competency for Polar Ice, providing the best experience for our transport team and enabling us build on competitive advantage through increased added value for our Customers.

It is our ambition to make Polar Ice a sustainable, carbon neutral, supplier of dry ice products in Ireland. Operating our Transport section to the TruckSafe Green Standard is an important step along this journey and we were thrilled to achieve the Green Gold TruckSafe Standard this year”
